About Me
Howdy ya’ll, I’m Avery–also known as Ave(s), also known as Avenue. (Hence my business’ name. Brilliant, right?) I make things. Things to wear, mostly (like jewelry and scarves), but also things to look at or send in the mail (like collages and notecards). You can buy things made by me on Etsy.
I would describe this blog as: the diary of a crafty, writer-ly gal who digs old things, the South, photography, scavenging the Internets, thrifting, and reading. You’ll find posts about some seriously mundane moments in my life here, and perhaps some teetering on the edge of “overly personal.” But you may also find posts that link you to your new favorite blog or funny cyber-diversion (’cause we all need more web-based diversions!), or a rad recipe, or some unbefreakinlievably amazing handmade treasure, or a photo story about how I made something. You get the idea. It may be random, but it’s always an adventure…of sorts.
Got a question? Just ask. I’m nice. And I check my e-mail all day long. You can contact me by e-mailing: avenuehandmade[at]gmail[dot]com. And please feel free to chime in with your two cents at any time, either through comments, or by e-mailing me.
