You know what’s frustrating? When you’ve finally made a hefty decision–we’re talking a life-changer here– with all consequences deliberated carefully and all options weighed thoughtfully, and are ready to move on with the next steps of said decision…when suddenly a new option is introduced, calling into question all your careful deliberation and plotting-out. It’s torture. And you have one of those throw-it-all-out-the-window moments and want to avoid being a responsible adult entirely. (Pardon the vagueness, but this is how it’s gotta be.) That’s my day in a nutshell. Happy Monday.
In other, entirely less troubling news, I love my husband. And I love when he has weekends off, because we do so many fabulous and ridiculous things when we have days to spend together–like surprise my mom with a visit the day after her birthday, buy lots of stuff we don’t really need–but might someday!–at a salvage mart, eat all kinds of ice cream, shred T-shirts for stuffing pillows, dramatically de-clutter our carport, start trying to buy a house, bake sweet potato fries, lie around listening to the rain, and just generally be awesome and adorable. I love him and I love our life together and I wish every couple in the world could be as happy as we are.
